We collected the original plants many years ago in Northern Panama as offsets from plants growing in trees in open pasture land

but it is not known from exactly where this spiral form comes

AND CANNOT BE EXPORTED A small tree from Madagascar with a naturally gnarled trunk, tiny bronzy tinted dark green leaves, weeping branches, contorted growth and knobby bark. Great for bonsai. Stays nice and compact in small containers. Trunk will make a substantial caudex if kept trimmed, and the roots are swollen and caudex like as well. Grown from our own seed.
